Can I use Inkless for free forever?
Yes. The free plan is one active campaign with unlimited notes, no card required and no time limit. It includes the toolbox, story arcs, the session planner, and search across all your notes.
Do my players need to pay?
No, players never pay. Share an invite link and they join your campaign to write backstories and take notes with you. Free campaigns seat a table of up to 10 people, and GM Pro raises that to 25.
What happens to my campaigns if I cancel?
Your notes and campaigns are never deleted. You keep GM Pro features until the end of the period you already paid for. After that, one campaign stays fully editable and any others become read-only until you resubscribe, so nothing is ever lost.
Can I pause my subscription between campaigns?
Yes. You can pause billing anytime from your account settings and resume when your next campaign starts.
Is the AI optional?
Completely. Nothing is ever generated unless you ask for it. Every AI tool, the session recap, backstory split, and describe-to-card, is opt-in, and Inkless works the same if you never touch them.
What is the difference between monthly and yearly?
The same plan, billed differently. Yearly is $50, which saves about 16% compared to paying $5 every month.
